ABOUT
Glenbrook-Blaxland Cricket Club (GBCC) has been part of the lower Blue Mountains community since the early 1970s. The club formed in 2000 as a merger between Glenbrook Senior Cricket Club (1971/72), Glenbrook Junior Cricket Club (1977/78) and Blaxland Cricket Club (1983/84).

We are an inclusive grass-roots club offering people of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to play the great game of cricket.

All of our teams play in the true spirit of the game in a fun and encouraging environment. If you're 6 and above, if you want to play socially or seriously, we have a team that can cater for you.

In the 2021/22 summer season, we fielded six men’s senior teams in the Nepean District Cricket Association competition and ten teams in the Penrith Junior Cricket Association competition, as well as an all-girls Master Blaster Program, and four senior teams in the Sydney Morning Cricket Association’s Winter Cricket competition.

GBCC has a proud history with a reputation for outstanding sportsmanship. We nurtured the junior development of top level players such as current Australian test captain Patrick Cummins; Sydney 6ers and Tasmanian cricketer Jordan Silk; and Australian representative, ACT and TAS cricketer Laura Wright.
