In term 1, 2021, GBCC will be supporting two cricket programs for girls: 

- Glenbrook Girls Only Master Blasters 

- Penrith Girls Only Cricket League. 



This is a fun and active program for girls of all abilities, whether it's your first time with a bat or you're a backyard cricket star! Every girl gets to bat, bowl and field, learn new skills, and make new friends along the way!

- Ideal for girls aged 5-12 years

- Fridays 4:30-6pm at Glenbrook Park

- Six week program, starting Friday 5 February with a come-and-try session

- No equipment or experience needed

- Come along, bring your friends!

- Ideal for girls aged 7-12 years 

- Wednesdays 5-6.30 pm at Howell Oval, Penrith 

- Eight week program, starting Wednesday 10 February 

- Every girl gets to bat, bowl and field. Played with a rubber ball so no special equipment needed! 

- The program will include 1-2 gala evenings, bringing together the Girls League players and Penrith’s female representative and grade players for a night of action and fun!

About girls cricket at GBCC

GBCC is a leader in the development of girls cricket in the district, fielding teams in the Thunder Girls Cricket League since it began and supporting girls to play mixed cricket in the PJCA Saturday morning competition. We welcome enquiries from girls of all ages, skills and experience levels.
